Design Concept

The concept plan for the Loraloma Clubhouse landscape focuses on integrating architecture with the site’s natural topography and character. Terracing and gentle grading shape a walkable experience from the upper spa to lower family amenities, minimizing disruption while preserving views. Stormwater is managed through bioswales, permeable paving, and green infrastructure that also enhance aesthetics. The design balances openness and privacy using elevation changes and planting buffers, while large canopy trees provide shade and comfort.

Clubhouse Concept Site Plan

The Loraloma Clubhouse is thoughtfully sited on terraced land overlooking the Hill Country, where the design enhances the natural character of the site and preserves views to the Pedernales River.

The spa anchors the highest point, while the family pool, market, and kids club are located at the lowest, creating a natural sequence across the site. Indoor and outdoor spaces, including the restaurant, fitness center, and pool cabanas, are connected by shaded pedestrian paths and designed to capture panoramic views and breezes.

The landscape design balances openness and privacy through terraces, planting buffers, and level changes. Stormwater and erosion are managed with bioswales, permeable paving, and green parking islands, while canopy trees provide comfort and shade.
