Maximize Your Land Potential

Master Planning + Development Services

Real estate developers who prioritize master planning and development services don’t just build communities—they build strategic assets.

At Denton House we believe success in real estate development involves maximizing the economic potential of land. Because we understand the complex regulatory, financial, and market environments you must navigate to do so, we focus on helping you plan profitability from the start.

Build Community Rooted In Place

Landscape Architecture + Site Design

Communities thrive when design becomes a catalyst for connection.

At Denton House, we believe exceptional landscape architecture is about shaping authentic environments that reflect the character of a place and foster meaningful experiences. By capturing what makes each location unique, we design communities and outdoor amenities that inspire engagement, strengthen identity, and build lasting community.

“The earth has music for those who listen.”
— Reginald Vincent Holmes

My strength lies in the flexibility of being able to take on an eclectic assortment of tasks where I’m needed. I enjoy working in CAD and other software to finesse the technicality of design, while also using thick markers to swoop across a sheet of trace paper at the very beginning of concepts, assisting in bringing to life the vision others share.

The inherent potential in the land around us requires us to approach it mindfully and responsibly, and I therefore wish to use my experience to create spaces that are both sustainable and deeply meaningful—places where people and the land can together heal, grow, and become more.

I have played the piano since I was 5, and have kept it up to a degree. I still reminisce about the moment I played the first movement of a concerto with a full orchestra behind me.

"We live by the currents, plan by the tides, and follow the sun."
— Sandy Gingras

I specialize in bringing together all the pieces of a project to create a visual story that honors a site’s history while imagining its future. My work blends planning and design with data and context, turning complex information into graphics that connect people to place. My work excites me because it protects and enhances beautiful places while creating spaces where lifelong memories can be made—connecting people to stories much bigger than themselves. I enjoy scuba diving and dream of restoring coral reefs—and one day, designing my own theme park.

“Look for what you notice but no one else sees.”
― Rick Rubin, The Creative Act: A Way of Being

I help teams synthesize ideas, constraints, and opportunities into a shared vision that feels authentic, grounded, and creatively driven. I value the people and ideas that shape a project, and I’ve learned that curiosity and a bit of extra thought often unlock possibilities—and value—that weren’t visible at first glance.

"Stay positive. Work hard. Make it happen."

I bring a pragmatic approach to design, balancing aesthetics with function while integrating architectural, ecological, and engineering perspectives. My work celebrates the land’s innate beauty through naturalistic landscapes that feel both timeless and intentional. What excites me most about my work is watching pen on paper transform into built spaces that are not only beautiful and functional but also bring joy to the people who experience them.

I’m also fascinated by advanced ancient civilizations and their ability to employ technologies far ahead of their time, solving complex challenges with extraordinary precision and skill. Their ingenuity and design shaped entire societies and is an enduring testament to creativity and innovation that still inspires today.

“I am a great believer in luck, and I find the harder I work, the more I have of it.”
— Thomas Jefferson

I specialize in the arrangement and organization of outdoor spaces, and to understanding the intricacies of circulation and access required for successful design. Drawing and other graphics are critically important tools in this process. I work hard to communicate clearly with my clients and document the design process through graphics & drawing. In the markets we work in, critical decisions need to be made daily and many of them often have long range affects on the trajectory and speed to permit and design/construction. If our team can illustrate any portion of this process and “outline” the site development decisions that need to be made or illustrate the preferred solutions in a way that more easily build stakeholder consensus, then we can add immense value to the outcomes of a project.

I also love to grow and cook food! I have a passion for designing residential spaces that include hi-yield, small footprint gardens and other urban farming elements, including rainwater harvesting that allow people to enjoy the benefits of wholesome, fresh homegrown food in a convenient and accessible way!

Senior Planner

“I know it sounds crazy. But if it weren’t crazy, they wouldn’t call it a leap of faith. They would call it a sit of doubting.”
— Eleanor Shellstrop, The Good Place

My work is about aligning great design with smart development. I love contributing to development projects that test ideas, prioritize place, and contribute meaningfully to the built environment—while supporting both creative and financial outcomes.

Micah Peterson

Director, Landscape Architecture

“Art is the lie that enables us to realize the truth”
— Pablo Picasso

My foundation is built on collecting goals, concepts and atmospheric intent then bringing that into real creations that can be touched and experienced through the application of known principles of design and construction. Leaning into the ambiguous and unknown pulling it into the restructured and executable.

The core of humanity lies in connection, providing catalyst for that through environmental manipulation allows end users to be more today than they were yesterday through connecting with others and themselves. I love exploring the outdoors through photography, a moment is just a moment but when captured it becomes art.

Samin Shokoohi

Site Designer / Planner

"A well-designed place can be a breath of fresh air for the mind."
― Unknown

I specialize in crafting landscapes that help people feel a true sense of belonging, guided by the hints of nature and the story of each site. I bring patience, curiosity, and a collaborative spirit that helps projects move forward smoothly. I’m passionate about shaping landscapes that serve as restorative shelters, offering moments of calm and clarity in a world that moves too fast.

Outside of work, I have a passion for learning flower decoration and creating beautiful arrangements. I love following new design ideas on Pinterest to stay inspired, and I’ve also styled a few small gatherings—adding décor for ceremonies and events just for the joy of it.

"If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change."
— Dr. Wayne Dyer

I'm dedicated to creating projects that celebrate the essence, the exceptional characteristics that make places unique and that push beyond sustainability to enhance the environment, enrich quality of life, and enliven human experience.

I’m blessed with the opportunity each day to create places where people can experience nature, find peace, improve health, connect with family and friends, share experiences, build relationships, strengthen community, and be inspired. I’m fortunate to work with talented, bright, and diverse individuals to design cool projects that address challenging problems and then see them get built.

One of my favorite things to do is to go over to my dad’s, get out our guitars, and play the old country and bluegrass songs I grew up listening to him sing.

Scott Stephens, PLA

Senior Landscape Architect

"Life is short but sweet for certain"
— Dave Matthews Band

I love designing unique, character-rich spaces and thrive in collaborative teams that tackle complex challenges with creative solutions. I’m energized by the full arc of the design process—from shaping early concepts to technical detailing and through construction execution. Few things are more rewarding to me than seeing my ideas and designs come to life and observing how people engage with the spaces I’ve helped create. Staying still has never been my strong suit—I love exploring, experiencing new places, learning new things, and seeking out every kind of adventure.
